Wirkungsgrad ist zwar nicht außerge-
wöhnlich hoch, im Zusammenspiel mit der
riesigen Belastbarkeit können aber im
Endeffekt trotzdem ohrenbetäubende
Pegel hergestellt werden. Dabei sind die
erforderlichen Gehäuse mit nur 15 Litern
geschlossen oder 25 – 35 Litern Bassreflex
so klein, dass der Einbau des SONIC-10
manchmal nur mit dem mächtigen Mag-
neten nach außen möglich sein wird.

surround of long excursion. The same
highly efficient drive system as at the
38 cm speaker is also used with the 30 cm
SONIC. The linear excursion is +/- 25 mm
at full drive and allows an absolutely
astonishing bass reproduction. This can
already be attempted in a cabinet of a
size of only 20-30 litres (closed), maxi-
mum power is achieved at bass-reflex
cabinets of approx. 60 litres.

SONIC-10 is sometimes only possible by
placing the huge magnet to the outside.
