Tools Needed Drill with phillips bit, level, adhesive, thread lock, masking tape, screws and allen wrenches (which are provided) and of course Ole Iron Slides™. Step: 4 Cut out old balusters. Do 4 or 5 balusters at a time so current handrail remains supported. Step: 1 Apply masking tape to sides of rail and edges of treads to mark centers of old balusters. Step: 5 Apply Liquid Nails® or a polyurethane adhesive on bottom of base.
