• If the internal battery has more than 80% charge level, the SOS message is sent.
o If the SOS message is not acknowledged by GEOS, the Thuraya SatBridge enters
sleep mode for 15 minutes before attempting to resend the SOS message until SOS
message is acknowledged by GEOS or batteries discharge completely.
Preferably, Thuraya SatBridge must not move from its position so that the satellite
connection can be established as quickly as possible when the unit wakes back up in 15
minutes.
If you had to move the Thuraya SatBridge because of prevailing conditions at your
location, then you will have to use Antenna Setup to establish satellite connection again.
o If the SOS message is acknowledged by GEOS, the Thuraya SatBridge enters sleep
mode for 4 hours.
Once the GEOS has acknowledged the SOS, users can change their location along
with the unit and be prepared to position the unit before the 4 hours of sleep mode
expires. The SatBridge App displays the time when the Thuraya SatBridge will send
the next SOS message.

again.
