Understanding Satellite Data Usage with the SatBridge App
You may be using data when you are connected to the Thuraya SatBridge Wi-Fi and
Thuraya SatBridge is connected to Satellite network.
Local users on the Thuraya SatBridge Wi-Fi do not use satellite data except for logging in
to the app.
Only Satellite Users, Administrators, and Owners can use satellite data.
Non-SatBridge apps (such as Facebook, Instagram, Browser) on mobile devices of users
with Satellite User, Administrator, and Owner account types can access satellite data if
background refresh is enabled.
When connected to satellite data, users with Satellite User, Administrator, and Owner
account types can access satellite data on non-SatBridge Apps if background refresh is
enabled in appseven if they sign out of the SatBridge App.
Admin and Owners can view the satellite data usage of all users in near real time on
their SatBridge App.
