User Management and Account Types
The User Management screen enables those with Owner or Administrator account types to
manage other user accounts.
Account Types
There are four types of account, each of which has the ability to view and access different
settings based on the account type. You can access each of them by typing the following into
the first name category at login.
User Role
Description
Owner
Has owner privileges and access to all settings. Owner must provide SOS
information to register with GEOS Emergency Services. There can be only one
owner for a Thuraya SatBridge. Can connect to satellite data.
Admin
Has all the same privileges as owner. However, an admin account is not
attached to GEOS SOS Emergency services. There can be multiple
administrator accounts for Thuraya SatBridge. Can connect to satellite data.
Satellite
Can connect to satellite data. Cannot access user management
Local
Shares the same limitations as satellite and cannot connect satellite data.
To manage a user account, follow these steps:
1. Tap User Management on the Settings screen.
