ENGINE CONTROLS – Refer to the engine manufacturer’s operating manual for controls,
operation and service. Never weld on a machine without disconnecting the ECU on the
engine. DO NOT OPERATE THE ENGINE AT AN ANGLE GREATER THAN 25°
OR SEVERE ENGINE DAMAGE WILL OCCUR. PROPER ENGINE OIL LEVEL
MUST BE MAINTAINED TO ACHIEVE MAXIMUM ANGLE OF OPERATION OF
25°. (See Engine Owner’s Manual for proper oil level.)
The Hurricane track machine must be
started using the key switch on the panel.
This switch starts the engine and enables
the machine mounted and radio control
functions. Before starting the radio
control transmitter, start the machine.
On the machine, the Speed switch must
be in the low position and the Swing
Brake switch must be in the locked
position before starting the transmitter.
To activate the transmitter for radio
control operation, make sure all switches
and paddles are in the Off, Neutral, or
Lock position.
Press the E-STOP button to make sure it
is locked.
Press the POWER switch to ON and
release.
The E-STOP light will flash red quickly.
Release the E-STOP button by twisting
it clockwise. Release the E-STOP
button within 10 seconds or the unit will
power down.
The Active light will flash yellow.
Test controls for proper operation.
