Carl's Place Standing DIY Projector Screen Kits take the guess work out of building a projection
screen and put fast & easy in its place. No need to already know how to build a projector screen –
we show you how without the hassle! These kits make great portable projection screens. They
include a finished edge screen, fittings, bungees and assembly instructions. These kits utilize fittings
which accept 1” EMT (electrical metal tubing/conduit pipes). None of these kits include the required
poles due to the impracticality of shipping. Instead, you can find it at any hardware store or building
supply store for $5-$7 per 10’ length. Kit instructions are provided with your order showing you
exactly how much tubing is needed and at what lengths it will need to be cut, as well as, how to
assemble your kit.
Finished Edge SilverScreen Material has edges wrapped in black vinyl with grommets installed
making it easy to install on any truss system, DIY frame or one of Carl’s Kits. SilverScreen Projector
Screen Material is a front projection material specifically for passive 3D applications. Its reflectivity,
extra-high gain and silver color provides excellent contrast, bright color clarity and sharp images, all
while maintaining the projection polarity necessary for passive 3D projection. SilverScreen Material
works best indoors in a controlled to low ambient light environment. Carl’s SilverScreen is made of
PVC which is mildew resistant with a reflective silver coating. Due to this highly reflective silver
coating everyday/non-passive 3D usage is not recommended*. This highly flexible fabric works best
when stretched tightly and evenly in all four directions (like a drum). You should project onto the
grainy, reflective side of the fabric.
