Installation Installation - Chime Kits Two Button Chime Front • Always turn off house power before beginning installation. • Choose a location for your chime receiver which allows it to be seen as well as heard. • Mount the transformer to a junction or circuit breaker box. Attic location is not recommended • Using wire nuts, connect power transformer leads to house power leads. • Extend standard bell wire from transformer and pushbutton(s) terminals to chime. See wiring diagram above for assistance.
Installation Installation - RC3250 & RC3252 Mounting back cover of door chime button NOTE: Mounting door chime button on aluminum siding or metal door frame may reduce range. If you want to cover the wire hole from your existing button, save mounting of the new door chime button until after removing the existing button. 1.
