TO485 temperature regulators are used in commercial and industrial installations where the operating
temperature in the system is to be limited to a preset value. The TO485 temperature regulator is
therefore especially suitable for use in cooling systems. The integral strainer protects the regulator
against individual loose dirt particles which may be circulating through the system. Where dirt is
constantly present, a separate upstream strainer must also be fitted where dirt is constantly present.
