Unpacking

Remove the scale base, display, hardware pack and other components from the shipping

carton. After removing from the carton, check for any damage that may have taken place during

shipment. Keep and use the original carton and packing material for return shipment if it should

become necessary. The purchaser is responsible for filing all claims for any damages or loss

incurred during transit. Remove all plastic wrapping, foam fillers and cardboard material from

the scale base, display and other components. You should have the following components:

e Column (under packing filler)

f Column Cover

g Connection Cable

h Hardware Pack, containing:

(1) M4 Machine Screw

(1) M2.3 Column Cover Screw

(2) M4.5x25 Machine Screws

(3) Connector Case Screws

(1) Philips Screwdriver

Assembly

Installing the Column and Display

1. Insert the column into the column cover.

NOTE! The Column (Iteme), is

under a packing filler and not

visible until the filler is removed.

Also, note that if a DHR or MHR is

ordered with the scale, its carton

will be on top of the Column’s

carton, replacing the packing filler.
