Indicator troubleshooting table
The following is a troubleshooting table for the AED indicators.

View Symptom Solution
Red Service indicator
(LED) is lit.
Maintenance by authorized
service personnel is required.
Contact Cardiac Science
Technical Support or, outside
the U. S., your local Cardiac
Science representative.
Red Pads indicator
(LED) is lit.
Connect the pads or replace
with a new pair.
The last battery
indicator (LED) is red.
The battery is low. Replace with
a new battery.
Rescue Ready Status
indicator is red, and
no other indicators
on the diagnostic
panel are lit.
Replace the battery. If the status
indicator remains red, contact
Cardiac Science Technical
Support or, outside the U. S.,
your local Cardiac Science
representative.
