“Do not touch patient! Analyzing
heart rhythm. Please wait.”
DO NOT TOUCH PATIENT
ANALYZING RHYTHM
Repeats until analysis of the patient’s cardiac rhythm is completed. This
prompt will be interrupted when ready to shock.
“Preparing shock. Move away from
the patient!”
NO CONTACT
WITH THE PATIENT
Repeats while the AED is preparing to deliver a defibrillation shock
(charging).

deliver shock.”
PRESS BUTTON
TO DELIVER SHOCK
Prompts after the AED is fully charged and ready to deliver the defibrillation shock.
The RED SHOCK indicator flashes and the phrase repeats for 30 seconds or until
the SHOCK button is pushed.
“Shock delivered” SHOCK DELIVERED Prompts when the shock is delivered.
