h. If scratched or worn shiny in
spots, disassemble and remove
all lubricant from surface with
dry cleaning solvent (WP 0045,
item 15). Wear rubber gloves
(WP 0045, item 17) and use a
wash pan (WP 0045, item 26) to
apply solvent. Let parts dry
thoroughly. Roughen the
surface using abrasive cloth
(WP 0045, item 13) and apply
solid film lubricant (WP 0045,
item 20). Allow 16 to 24 hours
to dry before handling.
