WARNING
The lock plate prevents the selector lever from being placed in BURST and
will be installed at the discretion of the unit commander. It is mandatory
for use in civil disturbance (riot control).

1. Using a screwdriver, reach inside pistol grip (3) and remove screw (2) and lockwasher (1).
WARNING
To avoid injury to your eyes, use care when removing or installing spring-
loaded parts.
2. Carefully remove pistol grip (3). Hold detent helical spring (4) in place.
