WARNING

To avoid injury to eyes, use care when removing spring-loaded parts.

NOTE

Headless grooved pin may bind against forward assist housing and require some

additional force to remove.

1. Remove retaining ring (1) and slide headless grooved pin (4) to the rear.

2. Catch cover spring (2) and ejection port cover (3) to prevent loss as headless grooved pin (4) is

withdrawn.
