4. FIRST AID MEASURES
Eye
Flush thoroughly with water. If irritation occurs, get medical assistance.
Inhalation
Under normal conditions of intended use, this material is not expected to be
an inhalation hazard. When breathing is difficult, properly trained personnel
may assist affected person by administering 100% oxygen. Get medical
attention if any discomfort continues.
Skin
Wash skin thoroughly with soap and water for several minutes. Contact
physician if irritation continues.
Ingestion
If swallowed, immediately give 2 glasses of water. Never give anything by
mouth to an unconscious person. Seek medical attention.
5. FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES
Fire Fighting Media
Use water fog, alcohol-resistant foam, dry chemical or carbon dioxide (CO2)
to extinguish flames.
Fire Fighting Instructions
Use standard firefighting procedures and consider the hazards of other
involved materials. Firefighters must use standard protective equipment
including flame retardant coat, helmet with face shield, gloves, rubber boots,
and in enclosed spaces, SCBA.
Unusual Fire & Explosion
Hazards
Decomposition may produce fumes, smoke, oxides of carbon and
hydrocarbons.
