en it de Instructions for Use fr it The ‘ENA 5 Instructions for Use’ has been awarded the seal of approval by the independent German Technical Inspection Agency, TÜV SÜD, due to its easy-to-understand style, its thoroughness and coverage of safety aspects.
ENA 5 IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS These safeguards apply for machines with UL safety test (see rating plate and chapter 9, ‘Technical data’). Follow the basic safety precautions When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons, including the following: Z Read all instructions. Z Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
ENA 5 c. If an extension cord is used, 1. the marked electrical rating of the extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance, and 2. if the appliance is of the grounded type, the extension courd should be a grounding type 3-wire cord, and 3. the longer cord shall be arranged so that it will not drape over the counter top or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children of tripped over. Z Z Z As a safety feature, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way.
