All specialty coffees, specialty coffees with milk and hot
water can be prepared without having to wait.

Before milk preparation, the machine heats up.

‘Active’ (Energy saving of up to 40%)
U
Soon after the last preparation, the IMPRESSA stops heating
up. As soon as the energy-saving temperature is reached,
this is indicated in the display by the message ‘Save
energy’ – this may take several minutes.
U
The machine heats up before coffee, hot water or milk prep-
aration.
Example: Proceed as follows to change the energy-saving mode
from ‘Inactive’ to ‘Active’.
Precondition: ‘Please select product:’ is displayed.
