Twotypesofcapareoffered,asimplesoftplasticcapprovidingIP53protectionand
anenvironmentallysealedrigidplasticcapwithIP67protectionandthesecondary
lockfeature,thesearecolorcodedtosuittheparentconnector.
Allcapsarefittedwithacordlanyardforsecuringtoit’sparentconnector.Cable
connectorshavealoopinthecordtofitaroundthecablegland,itisnecessaryto
specifythecableglandsizeinthepartnumberwhenorderingtoensurethecorrect
sizeloopissupplied.CapsforpanelconnectorshaveanM6ringterminalonthe
endofthelanyard.
Capsnotonlyofferprotectionagainstingressofmoistureanddirtintotheinter-
faceofthePowerLockconnector,theyalsoofferadegreeofprotectionagainstmechanicaldamagethatcanbecaused
whenconnectorsoncablesarebeinghandledandtransported.
