Cleaning and Disinfection
Equipment Surface
• Wipe the equipment surface down with a moist cloth; do not allow liquid to enter the equipment. All
cleaning agents and disinfectants commonly used in hospitals are suitable. Do not use abrasive
products.
Connection Cables
• Disconnect the cables from the device and remove the power connector before cleaning or
disinfection. When disconnecting the cable, be sure to pull on the connector, not on the cable.
• Clean the cable by rubbing it down with a cloth moistened with soap water. Use a disinfectant for
disinfection. Do not immerse the cable in liquid.
WARNING:
Shock Hazard — Disconnect the power supply from the power line and all display connection
cables before cleaning or disinfection.
Do not reconnect the devices to the power line or to other devices before all cleaned parts
are completely dry.

Personal Injury, Equipment Damage — Strictly observe the instructions for use of the
cleaning agents and disinfectants supplied by the manufacturers.
