Removing surface Scratches and Stains
To remove scratched or stained surfaces, use an abrasive cleanser or common household degrease, such as:
Soapy water ammonia-based cleaners will remove most dirt and stains.
Removing deep Scratches and Stains
Matte Finish
Clean the surface with water, making sure no dust remains and the surface is dry.
Use sponge sanding paper or 400# sanding paper and apply lightly to the damaged surface without water.
Wipe clean with dry and soft cloth.
Glossy Finish
Clean the surface with water, making sure no dust remains and the surface is dry.
Use #800 sanding paper to polish the surface with water.
Use #1500 sanding paper to polish the surface with water.
Use #2000 sanding paper to polish the surface with water.
Or use #2500 sanding paper to polish the surface with water.
Wipe up the water with a clean, dry and soft cloth.
Polish with 3M wax.
Wipe up the remaining wax with a clean, dry and very soft cloth.

Preventing Chemical Materials Damage
Do not expose the SOLIDTECH material to strong chemical materials, such as:
hair dye, nail enamel, paint removers, or other solvents as they may damage the
SOLIDTECH product. If contact occurs, quickly flush the surface with cold water. Should
the marks remain, please refer to the above cleaning methods.
