Installation instructions If you do not have the loudspeaker system installed by a specialist you are recommended to follow these general installation instructions: Safety Disconnect the negative terminal of the vehicle battery. Polarity When wiring the system you must ensure the correct polarity. Normally the labelled wire is the ‘+’ lead and the
neutral wire is the ‘-’ lead. In principle with Canton loudspeakers the wide contact is the positive pole and the narrow contact the negative pole. The polarity of the connectors of all separating filters is marked on the casing.
Wire We recommend high-grade wire with at least a 1.5 mm

cross-section. Remember that depending on where the
speakers are installed, you may need to bridge a considerable distance. Loudspeaker wires should never cross edges or sharp body parts without suitable protection.
Installation Use the fittings and cable clips supplied to fasten and connect the loudspeakers. Attention When installing and operating the loudspeakers please follow the safety regulations covering supporting body
parts, the road licensing regulations and the vehicle manufacturer’s instructions.
