IP address setting

When DHCP is unavailable, specify the IP address.

* In this example, IP address is set to 192. 168. 0. 16.

* If DHCP is available, the IP address will be allocated by DHCP.

1: To set the IP address, enter the following:

[root@POLARIS /home]# ifconﬁ g eth0 192.168.0.16

2: To review the IP address, enter the following:

[root@POLARIS /home]# ifconﬁ g

Firmware download

Download ﬁ rmware, via a Web or FTP server, to be used in the Maintenance

Mode.

* In this example, 192. 168. 0. 2 is set as the FTP server address.

1: To specify the address from which to download the firmware, enter the

following:

[root@POLARIS /home]# cd /tmp

[root@POLARIS /home]# wget ftp://192.168.0.2/maintenance.tgz
