Sync unit listSync unit list
Place a [psctl.conf] file in the [serial] folder on the master unit, containing a list of
HDMA-4000Sync units to synchronize. In this example, use the host names that
were used in the previous section and edit the file as follows:
* If the [psctl.conf] is also used for settings other than specifying the sync units list, place a [psctl.
conf] file with the same contents in the [serial] folders on the slave units.
* For settings other than the list of sync units in the psctl.conf file, see the section entitled: “Changing
serial control settings and the sync unit list” in Reference 3.
ContentsContents
The playback contents must be placed in the [serial] folders of all three HDMA-
4000Sync units.
* To use the “FR” command, setting files named “ContentFrame.idx,” which describe the same
frame constructions, are required on all three HDMA-4000Sync units. To use the “TM” command,
similar setting files named “ContentTime.idx” are required on all three HDMA-4000Sync units.
* For more information on the “ContentFrame.idx” and “ContentTime.idx” files, see the section
entitled “Controls by frame or time” in Reference 3.
* If the “psctl.conf” file is changed, reboot the HDMA-4000 unit to update the settings.
Note
The contents stored in the three units do not have to be exactly the same,
but the following must be the same: titles, chapters, length of contents, and
selectable by commands.
PlaybackPlayback
Plays contents using a serial controller connected to the master unit.
