The electrical parts are laid out as follows.
• SCNT board ............................................................... controls the entire facsimile machine
• PCNT board ............................................................... controls the printer function
• NCU board (SmartBase MPC600F only) .................. controls the telephone line
• Modem board (SmartBase MPC600F only) .............. controls the modem
• Modular board (SmartBase MPC600F only) ............ relays the telephone liine to the NCU board
• Power supply unit ...................................................... supplies power to the units and assemblies
• OPCNT board ............................................................ detects keyboard operation and displays machine
information
• ADF board(SmartBase MPC600F only) ................... interface with SCNT board
