SAP SUPPORTED DEVICES
SAP is the leading supplier of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software to the world's largest
corporations. The nature of SAP implementations is such that a significant amount of information is
viewed and printed in a structured reporting format. In order to utilize the extended finishing
capabilities inherent in the Canon devices, a Device Type for the specified device must be used.
Canon Inc. developed standard Device Types and Device Type Extensions for legacy models released
prior to 2009 are available on Canon U.S. A. website (www.usa.canon.com), under Drivers & Software
section.
In 2009, Canon, Inc. joined the Printer Vendor Program (PVP) provided by SAP AG to develop SAP-
certified Device Types for the direct print from a SAP system toCanonMFP/SFP. Device Types for devices
released 2009 and after are available exclusively from SAP website.
Below area list of supported devices with downloadable Device Types on SAP customer website and a
separate list for Device Types available on Canon U.S.A. website.
