To Cancel the Shortcut Button

Select in Step 2.

Using the Button

Press the Multi Controller , , or to

select the function you wish to register and

press .

z If appears on the lower right of

the icon, you can still register this

function but pressing the

button will not activate the function

in the current shooting mode.

Press the button.

z Each press of the button cycles through setting values

of the registered function.

- A configuration screen will appear for the and

functions.

- With the function registered, the white balance data is

captured each time you press the button. Since a

guidance frame does not show in the LCD monitor in this

case, please have the white target object or cloth centered

in the LCD monitor before pressing the button.

- The function is useful for directing your subject's

attention to the camera right before taking a shot because

it plays a sound when you press the button.

z If a function that cannot be used in the currently selected

shooting mode is selected, nothing will happen when you

press the button.
