Converting RAW Images
RAWimagescontainrawdatathathasnotbeensubjectedtoanycompressionprocessingby
thecamera.Inordertoviewtheimagesonacomputer,youmustuseImageBrowsertoconvert
theRAWimagesintoJPEGorTIFFimages.IfyouusetheImageQualityAdjustmentWindow,
youcanadjust
theimagetoachievethedesiredeffect.
Procedures for Converting RAW Images

Select a RAW image in ImageBrowser’s Browser Area.
2 Click [File] menu, followed by [Process RAW Images].
WhenthewindowshowingtheproceduresforconvertingandadjustingRAWimages
appears,click[OK].
TheMainWindow,Navigator,andImageQualityAdjustmentWindowwilldisplay.
3 Adjust the image quality as required in the Image Quality Adjustment Window.

The recording of RAW images can only be performed with camera models
that list [RAW] as one of the compatible data types in the Specifications
section of the Camera User Guide.
You can use this button to switch between
images and set various conversion settings,
such as the image rotation.
When the preview
image in the Main
Window is being
displayed at
magnification and
you click on and
move the red
mark, you can
change the portion
of the image
displayed in the
preview section.
