Troubleshooting the Computer Connection
Double-Check:
1. Is the cable between the camera and computer correctly attached?
(➔ p. 7 or p. 40)
2. Is the camera’s mode dial turned to the position? (➔ p. 10 or p. 45)
3. Is the battery charge sufficient?
You are recommended to use the AC adapter when connecting to a computer.
If the above conditions are met, check the following items.
• Confirm that the port selected in the Communication Settings dialog is
the one to which the camera is connected. Please see the respective
pages below.
Windows Platform (➔ p. 16)
Macintosh Platform (➔ p. 46)
• If there is more than one port, try connecting via another (different)
port.
• Set the baud rate to a lower setting in the [Communication Settings]
dialog.
• If you are using LocalTalk, set AppleTalk to [Inactive].
