Always press the [PUSH] button on the connector to
detach the cable from the camera’s DIGITAL terminal.

Precaution for Unplugging Cables from the
DIGITAL Terminal
Connecting to a Serial Port (Printer or Modem Port)
1.
Shut down the computer and turn the camera’s mode dial to the Off position.
2. Attach the supplied Macintosh cable to the printer or modem port on the
computer and to the camera’s DIGITAL terminal as shown below.
• Please consult your computer’s manual for the port locations.
3. Turn on the computer.

1. Open the DIGITAL terminal
cover by slipping a
fingernail under the top
edge and pulling down.
2. Insert the cable so that the
marks
on the cable and camera align.
