Initial Preparations
 Battery charging begins, and the USB
charge lamp is lit.
 When charging is nished, the lamp is
turned off.
 Remove the compact power adapter from
the power outlet and the interface cable
from the camera.
Inserting Your Memory Card
1 Open the cover.
 Open the monitor (1).
 Slide the cover (2) and open it (3).
2 Insert the memory card.
 Insert the memory card facing as shown
until it clicks into place.
 Make sure the memory card is facing the
right way when you insert it. Inserting
memory cards facing the wrong way may
damage the camera.
3 Close the cover.
 Lower the cover (1) and hold it down as
you slide it, until it clicks into the closed
position (2).
Setting the Date and Time
1 Turn the camera on.
 Press the ON/OFF button.
 The [Date/Time] screen is displayed.
