FAX SETTINGS
Setting Item Description
1. RX MODE Selects the receive mode. (See “Set the Machine for Receiving
Faxes,” in the Starter Guide.)

2. USER SETTINGS Specifies the basic operation settings in the fax mode.
1. UNIT TELEPHONE # Registers your fax number (max. 20 characters, including
spaces). (See “Set the Machine for Sending Faxes,” in the Starter
Guide.)
2. UNIT NAME Registers your name/company name (max. 32 characters,
including spaces). (See “Set the Machine for Sending Faxes,” in
the Starter Guide.)
3. TX TERMINAL ID Sets the options for sender information.
ON Sender information is printed in small type at the top of each
page.
OFF Sender information is not printed.
4. TEL LINE TYPE Selects the telephone line type. (See “Before FAX Setting,” in the
Starter Guide.)

5. STANDARD SETTINGS Sets the default setting for faxing.
