Specifications

• C.Fn IV-4: Assign SET button. The function name has been changed from
[SET button when shooting] to [Assign SET button].
• C.Fn IV-9: Protect Images/Voice memo button function. Now that the EOS-1D
Mark IV has a built-in speaker, the [2: Play memo (hold: Record memo)] setting has
been added. To avoid confusion with the video sound recording, the setting name has
been changed to “Memo (Record).”
• C.Fn IV-11: Start movie shooting
(New). When [1: Quick start (<FEL>
btn.)] is set, you can start shooting a
video immediately just by pressing the
FEL button while the camera is ready
to shoot. (This applies when the [Live
View/Movie func. set.] screen has been
set to enable video shooting.)
