Connecting the Machine to a Network

Connecting to a 100Base-TX Network
Connect the 10Base-T/100Base-TX cable to the hub port using a Category 5 rated
twisted-pair LAN cable for use on a 100Base-TX network. Then, connect the
10Base-T/100Base-TX cable to the optional network card at the back of the LASER
CLASS 700 Series machine. If your computer is not compatible with a 100Base-TX
network, you would also need a 100Base-TX network board.
NOTE
The hub, LAN cable, and network board that is connected to the LAN, should be
compatible with a 100Base-TX network. For details, contact your local authorized Canon
dealer.
