Preventing Counterfeit Documents

This machine includes a function for aiding in the prevention of counterfeit documents. If you are

copying documents that resemble paper money closely, you may be unable to get an appropriate

image.

Laser Safety

This product is certified as a Class 1 laser product under IEC60825-1:1993 and EN60825-1:1994.

This means that the poduct does not produce hazardous laser radiation.

Since radiation emitted inside the product is completely confined within protective housings and

external covers, the laser beam cannot escape from the machine during any phase of user

operation. Do not remove protective housings or external covers, except as directed by the

equipment's Reference Guide.

This CE Marking shows compliance of this equipment with Directive 73/23/EEC

and Directive 89/336/EEC both as amended by Directive 93/68/EEC.
