Registering the Unit's Name
Your name or company's name must be registered as the unit's name (a department name is
optional).
When you send a document, the recipient's machine displays or prints an your name or company's
name (and department's name, if applicable) as the sender's information on the recording paper.
Some fax models also display sender information on the touch panel display during transmission.
1 Press ➞ [Communications Settings] ➞ [TX Settings] under <Common
Settings>.
2 Press [Unit Name].
3 Enter a name ➞ press [OK].
The selected mode is set.
4 Press [Done] repeatedly until the Send Basic Features screen appears.
