Using the Send and Fax Functions in the Voice Navigation

IMPORTANT
• According to recent amendments to the
FCC (Federal Communications
Commission) rules governing the use of
facsimile equipment in the United States,
the following sender information must be
printed on every facsimile transmission:
-Your fax number
-Your personal name or company name
-Time and date of transmission
• Network settings must be specified to send
scanned documents to an e-mail address,
I-fax address, or a file server. Please seek
assistance from your network administrator
if network settings are not set.
NOTE
• If you do not hear any Voice Navigation
messages, start the Voice Navigation
mode. (See "Starting and Stopping the
Voice Navigation Mode," on p. 1-32.)
• For more information on Send Settings,
see the instruction manuals that came with
your machine.
