What are the customer-replaceable consumables, expected life of consumables, and

Can I add Kodak PerformancePlus to the i700 Scanner?
Service for the i780 Scanner is covered by the Kodak PerformancePlus program. It will allow
customers to upgrade their cover at highly competitive prices. PerformancePlus is available in
selected markets only. Contact your local Kodak sales team for more information.
Does the scanner support zone processing in black and white, color, and grayscale?
Yes.
Why does the output tray have five positions?
Different output tray positions work best for different jobs. Choose the best position to suit your
application. For example, long documents (e.g., A3-size) work best with the tray in the full down
position. The highest position works best with shorter documents.
When should I use the gap release lever?
Use the gap release any time thick or fragile documents will be fed one at a time through the
scanner. Refer to the User’s Guide for more information.
