Document and Paper Handling
When loading envelopes
(1) Close the envelope ap.
(2) Place the stack of envelopes on a at surface, atten them
to release any remaining air, and be sure that the edges are
pressed tightly.
(3) Loosen any sti corners of the envelopes and atten curls as
shown in the gure.
(4) Align the edges of the envelopes on a at surface.
(5) Load the envelopes into the paper cassette with the print side
up.

Align the paper guides with the loaded paper.

Hold down the paper, then set it under the hooks
(A) on the paper guides.
Make sure that the paper stack does not exceed the line of the
load limit mark (B).

Insert the paper cassette into the machine.
Push it into the printer rmly.
When loading Legal size paper
When the paper cassette is inserted with it extended, the front
side of the paper cassette is not ush with the front surface of the
machine as shown in the gure.
Set the legal dust cover on the paper cassette.
