Maintenance
Transport ing the Machine
Before transporting the machine, see "Precautions when
Transporting the Machine" (

P.8-14)
When changing the location of the machine or moving the
machine for maintenance, be sure to perform the following
procedure.

Turn the power OFF, then disconnect the cables
and cord from the machine.

How to remove the cables and cord
USB cable* (2) Turn the computer o .
(3) Remove it from the machine.
LAN cable* (4) Remove it from the machine.
Power cord (5) Unplug the power plug from the AC power outlet.
(6) Remove it from the machine.
* Whether the cable is connected or not varies depending on your
environment.

If telephone cables are connected, disconnect all
the telephone cables from the machine.

Pull out the paper cassette.
Hold the paper cassette with both hands.

Move the machine from the installation site.
Hold the grips with two or more people.
Check the weight of the machine so it can be carried safely.
