3 In the printer properties dialog box, click the [Configuration]
tab (Windows 98/Me) or [Device Settings] tab (Windows NT
4.0/2000/XP/Server 2003).
The [Configuration] sheet (Windows 98/Me) or [Device Settings] sheet (Windows
NT 4.0/2000/XP/Server 2003) is displayed.
4 Click [Get Device Status].
The detected information is displayed in the [Configuration] sheet (Windows 98/
Me) or [Device Settings] sheet (Windows NT 4.0/2000/XP/Server 2003).
5 Click [Yes] in the message box.
6 Click [OK].
If no information is detected, proceed to "Configuring Manually."
