5 When a message appears prompting you to insert the
CD-ROM, insert the Printer Driver Software CD-ROM into the
CD-ROM drive ➞ click [OK].
6 Click [Browse] to specify the driver path on the CD-ROM ➞
click [OK].
The alternate printer driver is updated.
IMPORTANT
To use the updated printer driver on the client PC, first uninstall the current printer
driver ➞ double-click the shared printer icon for the updated alternate printer driver
on the server PC.
Windows 2000/XP/Server 2003
1 On the [Start] menu, point to [Settings] ➞ click [Printers].
NOTE
• If you are using Windows XP Professional/Server 2003, on the [Start] menu, click
[Printers and Faxes].
• If you are using Windows XP Home Edition, on the [Start] menu, click [Control
Panel]
➞ [Printers and Other Hardware] ➞ [Printers and Faxes].
2 Click the [Server Properties] on the [File] menu to open the
[Print Server Properties] dialog box ➞ click the [Drivers] tab.
