Using a NetBIOS Network
12 To resolve the name with WINS, select [On].
Otherwise, select [Off].
If you select [Off], skip to step 14.
13 Enter the IP address of a WINS server using - (numeric
keys).
IMPORTANT
If DHCP determines the IP address, the IP address obtained from a DHCP server
is overwritten with the IP address of a WINS server (obtained from the DHCP
server), whenever possible.
14 Confirm the settings you specified ➞ press [OK].
The display returns to the TCP/IP Settings screen.
15 Press [Done] repeatedly until the Additional Functions screen
closes.
16 Restart the machine.
❑ Turn OFF the machine, wait at least 10 seconds, and then turn it ON.
