Send and Receive Methods
During transmission, the transaction number and page number currently being
sent, are displayed in the Job Monitor area.
NOTE
• To cancel scanning, press [Cancel] on the touch panel display or (Stop) on the
control panel.
• The transaction number is used for reference when checking the transmission
results, or canceling the fax job. (See "Checking the Status of Fax Jobs," on p. 3-2.)
• If there is no response from the recipient's machine or if a transmission error
occurs, the machine's Auto Redial feature automatically attempts to send the
document again. Auto Redial is carried out twice, at two minute intervals. (See
"Auto Redial," on p. 4-11.)
• If you cannot send the document after Auto Redial, check the destination's
telephone number. Replace the original, and try sending the document again.
Direct Sending
1 Press (SEND).
2 Place your originals.
