Checking for a Dial Tone Before Sending
You can set whether to check for a dial tone before dialing when sending a fax.
NOTE
The default setting is 'On'.
1 Press (Additional Functions) ➞ [Communications Settings]
➞ [TX Settings] under <Fax Settings>.
If necessary, see the screen shots in steps 1 and 2 of "ECM Transmission," on
p. 4-6.
2 Press [Check Dial Tone Before Sending].
NOTE
If the desired setting is not displayed, press [ ▼ ] or [ ▲ ] to scroll to the desired
setting.
