Lift up the duplex unit and then
pull it out of the printer.
Securely hold with both hands.

Open the rear cover.

Remove the rear cover using the
dedicated removal tool.
Insertion slot
Insert the tip
of the tool
until it stops.
Apply pressure
to the right.

Remove the rear cover
while holding it.

Pull out the xing unit from the
printer.

Pull out the xing unit
while raising the blue levers.
Put your thumbs here.

Get a new xing unit ready.

Install the new xing unit in the
printer.
Securely hold it with both hands
the label side up.

Push in the xing unit until both
left and right blue levers snap
into engagement.
Use your thumbs to push on both
sides of the xing unit together,
using the marks as a guide, with
even pressure.
Remove the packing material.
