Perform maintenance kit replacement by
following the procedural instructions described
in this guide.
When handling the replacement items
Do not hold or touch any portions other than
those designated in the procedural instructions.
Doing so may cause print quality to deteriorate or
cause a malfunction.
Packing materials
Packing materials may be changed in form or
placement, or may be added or removed without
notice.
Packing materials after removed
Dispose of them in accordance with the local
regulations.
Disposing of used items
For items that were used in business facilities,
dispose of them in accordance with the applicable
law and regulations, for example by conferring
their disposal to authorized industrial waste
disposal operators. For items that were used in
general households, dispose of them in
accordance with the local regulations.

If any item is missing or damaged, contact your
local authorized Canon dealer.

Turn OFF the Printer and
Disconnect the Cables
Turn OFF the printer

To turn OFF the printer, perform a shutdown using
the operation panel. For the shutdown method, see
the e-Manual contained in the "Instruction Manual
