If <E000-0000> is displayed on
the operation panel
The xing unit may not have been pushed
in far enough. Take the following actions.

Turn OFF the printer, and disconnect the
power cable and the LAN cable.

Remove the duplex unit and the rear
cover.

Push in the xing unit until a snap sound
is heard.

If no snap sound is heard, remove the xing
unit and try attaching it again.
If <Insert tonercartridge.> is
displayed on the operation panel
The transfer roller may not be set correctly.
Take the following actions.

Turn OFF the printer, and disconnect the
power cable and the LAN cable.

Use your thumbs to push on both sides
of the xing unit together, using the
marks as a guide, with even pressure.

Check that the right end portion of the
transfer roller is correctly set in the
bearing.

Insert the right end portion
of the roller into the
white-colored bearing.
If the setting state is not correct, remove the
transfer roller and try placing it in position
again.

Check that the left-hand part of the
transfer roller is orientated downward.

Hold the roller so that this
part is oriented downward
as illustrated.
If the orientation is not correct, remove the
transfer roller and try placing it in position
again.

Perform a test print.
After resetting the counter, perform
the following procedure to check that
Conguration Page is output.
