Setting Up a Mail Account

An asterisk (*) indicates the default setting.

Registering an SMTP Server

If you transmit and receive I-Fax using an SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol)

server, you need to register the SMTP server address.

Press [Additional Functions].

The ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS menu appears.

Press [F3] (▼) or [F4] (▲) to highlight <03 FAX SETTINGS> ➞

press [OK].

Each time you press (▼) or (▲), the next or previous menu option

becomes highlighted.

The FAX SETTINGS menu appears.

14 ADDRESS FORMAT Specify a mail address format. 'NAME <ADDRESS>*',

'ADDRESS (NAME)',

'ADDRESS ONLY'

15 PRINT MAIL HEADER Specify whether the mail header

(including date and subject) is to

be printed.

'OFF*', 'ON'
