Inkjet Printers
With the Stylus Color 1520 and Stylus Color 3000 you can bring large for-
mat printing in house. Never rely again on an outside bureau to run large
format color visuals, promotional graphics, and CAD/CAM
drawings. Ideal printers for general business users, engineering/scientific
applications, and small network workgroups, the Stylus 1520 and 3000 fea-
ture Epson’s PerfectPicture Imaging System, enabling you to produce high
quality output in any size up to 17 x 22˝ and banners up to 16 feet long.
Very similar to each other, the 1520 has a maximum printable area of 13.6 x 21.78˝ while the 3000 has a live print area of
16.12 x 21.31˝ allowing full bleed 13 x 19˝ design layouts. The 3000 also adds Adobe Postscript Level 2 and
PANTONE Calibrated approved colors for Mac and Windows. Both printers can output up 7 color pages per minute
(letter-size) and both offer optional networking with support for Ethernet, EtherTalk, Novell and TCP/IP networks.
High Quality
◆ High definition 1440 dpi resolution and
Epson QuickDry inks enable finely detailed
line diagrams to be created with laser-
sharp clarity, while Epson’s PerfectPicture
Imaging System enables these printers to
produce highly realistic color visualiza-
tions.
◆ Print everything from fully detailed
CAD/CAM engineering drawings and archi-
tectural perspectives, to PhotoReal images
for design visuals, and larger POS applica-
tions such as posters and banners.
Versatile Paper Handling
◆ They handle different media making them
truly virtuoso printers. A built-in cut sheet
feeder adjusts to accommodate everything
from envelopes and index cards, to letter,
legal, A4, B5, 11 x 17˝ and 13 x 19˝.
◆ In addition to an automatic cut sheet feed-
er (capacity 100 sheets), there’s a tractor
feed for continuous stationery up to A3
(11.7 x 16.5˝).
◆ For POS display material, engineering
drawings, plans, layouts, generating giant
promotional banners up to 16-ft. long, and
other special applications, the printers
will accept roll paper up to 432mm wide,
which can be fed manually, or with a roll
paper holder. (optional on 1520).
Versatile Connectivity
◆ Parallel and high speed Mac serial inter-
faces are standard, plus they offer multi-
platform compatibility and comprehensive
network connectivity (including Ethernet
and LocalTalk) through a wide range of
easily installed optional interface cards.
This allows the 1520 and 3000 to be shared
by PC and Mac users, office-wide.
AutoColor and Color Matching.
◆ Achieving perfect results – whether pro-
ducing complex line diagrams or full color
photo realistic images – couldn’t be easier.
The printers’ drivers can do all the hard
work for you. And to ensure accurate
color matching between your monitor and
printed output, advanced color correction
software complies fully with both the
Windows ICM and Mac ColorSync color
matching systems.
Automatic Monitoring
◆ Supporting two-way communications with
your PC or Mac, enhanced printer drivers
facilitate print head alignment and clean-
ing, review current printer settings, and
report continuously on printer status:
monitoring individual ink cartridge levels,
and enabling you to check media types
and supply.
